Help with your lists.

Not with us. Fave has no sign-up, no password and no profile to fill in. Your lists are kept on your iPhone and mirrored to your own private iCloud, so they follow you to a new phone without us ever holding a copy. We cannot read them, and there is nothing on our side to log into.

Fave still works, it simply cannot carry anything across. Profile → Your data tells you which situation you are in: when there is no iCloud account on the phone it says your lists live only there, and that signing in from Settings will let them keep themselves. Nothing is lost in the meantime.

Only what it needs to put a name and a cover on something. Searching a film or a show sends that text to TMDB along with your language setting; searching a book sends the title or the ISBN to Open Library. Posters and covers are downloaded from those same two services, and Fave will quietly fetch a missing one when you open the app. Your stars, your reactions, your notes and your photos are never sent to either of them.

In two steps, because there are two copies. Deleting the app clears it from that iPhone, but the synced copy stays in your iCloud and would return if you reinstalled. To remove it for good, delete the app and then delete Fave's iCloud data from your iPhone's Settings. Inside the app you can also delete a single list or entry by holding it down, which removes it from all of your devices.

Both. Movies, Shows and Books are built in, with a search that fills in the title, the year and the artwork. Everything else goes in lists you make yourself, which come in two kinds: Things for anything you try, and Places for cafés and venues, where a place is scored by the orders you rate inside it. Every entry can take one to five stars, an emoji, a note and one photo, and all four are optional.
