Savely tracks your money on your phone and nowhere else. The app says so in its own settings: "Your data never leaves this iPhone." Here is what that means in detail:
What we collect: nothing
Savely has no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no ads, no trackers, and no servers of ours. It does not sync to iCloud either. We never see a single number you enter.
Where your data lives
Your income, your expenses, your goals, and the deposits you make toward those goals are stored in a database inside the app on your iPhone. Your display name and your reminder settings live in the app's own preferences. All of it stays on that phone.
Scanning a receipt
Savely asks for the camera the first time you scan a receipt, with these words: "Savely uses the camera to scan receipts for recording and managing your expenses." The photo is read on your device by Apple's own text recognition, and the app keeps only the amount, date and description you confirm on the review screen. The image itself is never saved by the app and never uploaded. You can also pick a photo you already have through Apple's photo picker, which hands Savely the single image you chose, so the app never gets access to your photo library.
Reminders
The reminders are local notifications: your iPhone schedules them and your iPhone shows them. Savely asks for notification permission the first time you open it, and you can turn the reminders off in the app or in iOS Settings. Nothing is pushed from a server, because there is no server.
What leaves your phone
Nothing, unless you send it yourself. The app makes no network requests. The one thing that can travel is the weekly PDF report: it is built on your phone from the current week and handed to the iOS share sheet, and where it goes from there is entirely your decision.
Deleting your data
"Delete all data", in the Data and privacy section of your profile, removes your income, expenses and goals from the phone. Your name and your reminder settings stay, because they are preferences rather than data. Deleting the app removes everything, those included.
Children
Savely collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the date above changes with it, and the current version will always live at this URL. If a future version of Savely ever sends anything off your phone, this page will say so before that version ships.
