A calm answer to every question.
Savely keeps your money on your phone and nowhere else. If a total reads wrong, a goal will not budge, or a reminder never arrives, write in. Every message is read by the person who built the app.

The ones that come up most. If yours is not here, just write.
Where does my money data live?
On this iPhone, in a private store only Savely can open. There is no account, no cloud copy, and no connection to anything outside the phone. The app says so itself under Me → Data & privacy: your data never leaves this iPhone. The camera is the only permission it ever asks for, and that is for reading receipts.
If I lose my phone, can I get my data back?
Not from us, and we would rather be blunt about it. Nothing is ever uploaded, so there is no copy on our side to restore and no account to recover. What does protect you is your iPhone's own backup: Savely stores everything in the app's normal storage, so it travels with an iCloud or computer backup and returns when you restore a phone. That is the honest trade for keeping your finances off the internet.
How does the receipt scanner work?
Point the camera at a receipt and iOS reads it on the device, in Spanish or in English. Nothing is uploaded, and the photo itself is never saved. What you get back is a draft: the amount, the merchant, the date and the category are all editable, and nothing is recorded until you tap Save. You can also pick an existing photo from your library instead.
What does Auto-move on payday actually do?
Less than the name promises, and you should know that before you rely on it. Nothing moves on a schedule and nothing runs in the background. You switch it on for a goal, and then, when you log income, Savely may offer to move one amount into that goal. It happens only if you say yes, and the deposit is written together with that income.
Can I export my data, or erase it?
There is one export, the Weekly PDF report row under Me → Data & privacy. It covers the current week of income and expenses and hands you a PDF through the share sheet, so treat it as something to read rather than a backup to restore from. To erase, use Delete all data in the same place: every income, expense and goal is removed from this iPhone, your name and reminder settings stay, and it cannot be undone.
